Rectangular expansion joints absorb all of the movements in any one length of piping, but they are mainly used to absorb axial movements. Rectangular expansion joints do not restrain pressure thrust so adequate anchors and guides must be provided.

Rectangular expansion joints are with U& V shaped convolutions and available with different corner configuration i.e., rounded, double miter and miter. The “V” convolution profile will be supplied with single miter corners, unless otherwise specified. Round corner bellows will always be constructed using the “U” convolution profile.

These expansion joints can be manufactured with one or more convolutions and with limitless dimensions.
