It can be used as a shaft seal for chemical fluids at intermediate pressure, boiler water, and oil refining equipment. The rotating side seal is made as a unit for easy handling. The projection-type clutch is used for transmission of rotation. It is best suited for fluid machinery subject to frequent start/stop switching and forward/reverse rotation.
