This is a high performance engineered cartridge mechanical seal for boiler feed and hot process applications. The seal utilizes technology used successfully in boiler feed applications for over 30 years. The balanced stationary design enables it to operate in high speed and high pressure applications whilst compensating for angular misalignment and eliminating spring fatigue caused by centrifugal forces. The shrink disc clamping feature enables better overall seal alignment and does not cause damage to the shaft. A bi-directional pumping ring allows rotation in both directions.
