CPA cryogenic pipe supports (cold shoes) are custom-engineered, pre-insulated supports using high-density PUF to safely carry loads and minimize heat transfer in LNG and LPG applications down to –165 °C.
Features
- Suitable for temperatures down to –165 °C
- High load-bearing capability with excellent thermal insulation
- Manufactured using high-density PUF insulation
- Reduces heat ingress and prevents condensation
- Custom-designed to meet project-specific requirements
- Robust construction for long service life in harsh environments
| Type | Number of Legs | Support Function | Typical Application |
| CS1 | Single leg | Resting / Light guide support | Used as a resting support on horizontal pipes or as a guide support where lateral load is relatively light (up to 30% of vertical load in standard designs). |
| CS2 | Two legs | Vertical support / One-way guide | Used as a vertical support on horizontal pipes where uplift load may occur, or as a one-way guide on vertical pipes. |
| CS3 | Three legs | Guide support | Used where lateral loading is relatively high. |
| CS4 | Four legs | Full guide support | Used as a full guide on both vertical and horizontal pipes. |
| CA1 – CA4 | As per CS type | Axial stop support | Shoes incorporating axial movement control with centre stops in the cradle and thrust rings welded to the pipe. |
